Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026. This is a starting template. Have a lawyer review it before you launch.

1. Who we are

VetQ ("we", "us") is based at 4 Royal College Street, London NW1 0TU, United Kingdom. Contact: support@vetq.org.

2. What VetQ is

VetQ is an independent study aid for veterinary licensing exams. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ICVA, AAVSB, the RCVS or any other exam provider. Practice questions are for education only. Apart from the plan guarantee in section 5, we do not promise that you will pass any exam.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google or with an email address and password. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account is for one person; please do not share your login or copy our content.

4. Free trial and plans

New accounts get a free 48-hour taster, with limited access to a small sample of the questions, mocks and notes, and no payment details required. After that you can buy a plan for a fixed period (for example 30, 90 or 180 days). Plans are one-off payments processed by Paystack. They do not renew automatically. Time you add to an active plan is stacked onto the end of it.

5. Plan guarantee

If you buy a plan, sit the exam you were preparing for, and do not pass, you can ask for a free replacement plan of the same length as your most recent paid plan. To qualify you must: have a paid plan; have answered at least 500 questions on VetQ; upload your official score report; and tell us the true date you sat the exam (after you bought your plan, and within 90 days of asking). Each request is reviewed by a person. We may refuse requests that are incomplete, unreadable, altered or untrue, and we may close accounts that submit false documents. One approved request per account.

6. Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, copy, resell or redistribute questions, explanations, images or notes; do not attempt to bypass access controls; do not use the service unlawfully. The reading notes are shown as pictures stamped with your email address and a personal code. Printing, screenshotting, photographing, saving or sharing them is not allowed, and if a stamped page is found outside VetQ we may close the account it came from without a refund. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Content and intellectual property

The VetQ service, branding and compiled content belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while you have access.

9. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep VetQ running but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change features or pricing; price changes never affect a plan you have already bought.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, VetQ is provided "as is" and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are handled by the courts of England and Wales, but this does not take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes we will tell you by email or in the app.
